Bettering the community one plant at a time.
The Millersburg Borough Community Garden will serve the residents of the Borough of Millersburg and surrounding communities by providing public garden plots at minimal cost. We intend to provide education, materials, and facilities for residents to grow their own food, and share best practices for gardening. Produce from our Borough and Sponsored plots will be made available to the community, free of charge. We hope to directly support all community members, but especially our most vulnerable. This project aims to improve the quality of life for our residents by giving them the skills they need to provide for themselves in times of economic uncertainty, and to improve the community’s overall resiliency. We officially opened the garden in April 2023!

We are so grateful to all of our volunteers who have helped us build and maintain the garden! Without volunteers at our work days, or volunteers maintaining our garden daily, we couldn’t have had success in 2023. If you’re interested in volunteering for a work day, or long term, please apply to volunteer at the top of this page.
Our community fridge is located in the Millersburg Borough Office (101 West Street, Millersburg). Our commercial grade fridge is where we store the majority of picked produce. In 2024 we will have a produce stand setup in the main square of the Millersburg Borough. A huge thank you to the Millersburg Rotary Club for donating all supplies and building our brand new produce stand! Anyone is welcome to take produce from either our fridge or produce stand.
GARDEN UPDATES
Plot rental registration will open on February 1st, 2024! Renters will be accepted in the order that they apply until plots are filled.
