Bettering the community one plant at a time.

The Millersburg Borough Community Garden will serve the residents of the Borough of Millersburg and surrounding communities by providing public garden plots at minimal cost. We intend to provide education, materials, and facilities for residents to grow their own food, and share  best  practices for gardening. Produce from our sponsored plots will be made available to the community, free of charge, directly feeding our most vulnerable populations. This project aims to improve the quality of life for our residents by giving them the skills they need to provide for themselves in  times of economic uncertainty, and helps to improve the community’s overall resiliency. We hope to open the garden in April 2023!

GARDEN UPDATES

We’ve officially started building the Millersburg Borough Community Garden! Below you can see photos from our first work day which was on March 18th, 2023. It was a huge success, and we are so grateful to all of our volunteers who helped us! The Community Garden is located in MYO park, and is on track to be completed by April 8th.
